Amanda Mur
(2024 — 2026)
“Neu Om” is the debut of Amanda Mur, a work of crystalline sonorities that connects worlds that are, at first glance, antagonistic: contemporary classical music, sacred music, folklore, and the experimental “pop song” space in which this Cantabrian artist has chosen to develop her voice. She completed advanced studies —in composition and lyrical singing— between her homeland and Madrid, where she studied with conductor José María Sánchez-Verdú, himself a disciple of other major figures such as Antón García Abril.
Present on prestigious stages such as the Teatro de la Zarzuela or the Auditorio Nacional, venues where she even premiered some orchestral works, Mur has now decided to throw the gates wide open, boldly producing an unusual first album with the help of Adrian Foulkes in production and mixing, and Joker in mixing and mastering. — Rockdelux
